Problems with i18n of FLTK plugins

Hi list,

I am not able to get a correct display of the Czech accented characters
for Bracketing to HDR and ICC Examin plug-ins. AFAIK these plug-ins use
FLTK.

Since older versions of FLTK do not support UTF-8, I have tried also
ISO-8859-2 in the po files (i.e. changing the charset in the header and
converting with ivconv), however, it did not solve the problem.

dev package of libfltk1.1 (1.1.7-6) using ubuntu repositories (Ubuntu
Hardy 8.04)

Any help?
