make distcheck fails on Xubuntu

make distcheck fails in po-script-fu. It's something with i18n. Can you fix?

FYI, after building CinePaint on Xubuntu I had to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH in 
order to find libcinepaint:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
