[CinePaint] Saving files in Cinepaint 22-1

I am using Cinepaint to touch up some old negatives that I have scanned.  I'd
like to save them as 16 bit tiffs, but I don't see the dialog where I can
request 16-bit.  My files are being saved as 8-bit tiffs.  Can someone
advise, please?  If it matters, I'm working from Ubuntu 9.04.
