Louis Thanks, but I'm really looking for a command line thing to convert thousands of images without opening them in an editor like blender etc. But thank you. Also it looks like Cinepaint fills in the gaps in the tonal range spreading 8bit levels into a 32bit format, I may be wrong, if I am is there anyway Cinepaint can do that, a sort of interpolation. I don't know the correct terminology for that, otherwise I could google it. Imagemagick I can get to do 16bit but still does no interpolation from what i can see. Noticed on photography forums that some are adding a very small amount of noise to shift some of the pixels about into the gaps to help where interpolation can't be done. I'm sure some will say, if you want 32bit or 16bit then shoot that. I'm not trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear I'm just looking to get the best 8bit file I can in a 32bit format ready for next stage of process. Thanks again. ll-----Original Message----- From: Louis Byrne <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [CinePaint] Really basic script for batch converting. 8bit .png to 32bit Float .hdr Date: Sat, 21 Nov 2009 21:08:22 +0000 https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/cinepaint-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
