Hi guys

I've finally found an app that when upping from 8bit to 32bit fills in
the gaps in the tonal range giving a smooth histogram. That is
Cinepaint. :-)

What I really need to do now is to be able to work on thousands of image
frames from video sources and up them from 8 bit .pngs to 32 bit hdr
before feeding them into a compositor application for combining with 3D
renders and final colour grading etc.

I can find load-image-png & save-image-hdr but not the 32bit IEEE in
between?

Thanks in advance.
