Then the package is broken. Talk to the distributors (debian). They 
possibly have splitted some data in /share/cinepaint/0.20-1/ out of the 
cinepaint package, maybe into cinepaint-data? Is on your distribution  
a similiar package available?

I did nothing on debian as I am busy with the osX app.
