I have a few 9250 cards (PCI and AGP) which work flawlessly with r200 DRI. It just works "out of the box". The driver is amazingly stable and full featured. I too get the "visual warning" too (for depth 32). But I've set defaultDepth to 24 (it works even if I don't set it). I my experience, its best to stick with R200 drivers than go with proprietary drivers. -Aditya ------=_Part_1157_21103851.1214397164311 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline

On Wed, Jun 25, 2008 at 10:19 AM, Esben Stien <[email protected]> wrote:

Alan Grimes <[email protected]> writes:

> I used to have a card very much like that, but after a year of
> waiting the DRI driver never worked

This driver has been the best supported for many years.
