I guess that's a bug:-( Can you please open a report and append your config.log
to it on issues.fresco.org? We don't want to loose that information. What really
surprises me is that Berlin's configure does not fail/give a error message though.
It definitly should and I allways assumed it would.

As a workaround you might want to try to run configure with this option:
    --with-omniorb-prefix=/usr/local
plus any you are using allready.
