I run Fresco on the SDL console which features hardware acceleration. The G=
LUT=20
console was never fully functional due to threading issues, but then does n=
ot=20
offer any real benefit over using SDL.

No C/C++ experience is much less a hindrance than a small amount of spare=20
time. Unfortunately everybody has very little time for fresco, so it is not=
=20
progressing at all anymore. In the last IRC meeting was some talk about=20
various directions people wanted to work on, but I have not yet seen much=20
code since then. I am not complaining (I have not produced anything=20
worthwhile myself, so I am not in a position to do so), just stating a fact.
