In the meantime you might study various open-source projects
that have been highly successful under more liberal licensing.  The
entire Python and Eiffel languages for example, or Apache web
server -- any number of things.  Apache is one of the killer apps
that made Linux the success it is today.  And BSD got us better
operating systems (the TCP/IP stuff in Windows, the unix stuff in new
Macs).

There are also a number of projects that started under LGPL, but
eventually learned from the mistake, and later liberalized
(e.g. wxWindows, http://www.opensource.org/licenses/wxwindows.php ).
