The idea is fine by me. Although there is just
one bit that I would like to add. I suggest
keeping desktop enviroments or DesktopKits or
whatever you call them from Fresco is the best
thing anyone could do.

Well, actually now I'm working on a UI proposal,
mainly written for Fresco so that whoever who is
willing to make the desktop front end could use
it. I'm still not finish yet, there is a long way
to go (i'm into detail), so maybe it would be
ready sometime mid next year.

If I didn't give up too fast.

Besides, there is a XFree86 4.3? Wow, that's new.
