hello,

The short comings of all modern display systems had sort of been sitting in
the back of my mind, not very well defined. Then recently I heard about
fresco - finally something which promises to do things The Right Way.

So, I am running debian, and would like to get started with fresco
development.

I tried downloading M1 and running debuild, but it didn't seem to like version
3 of the omniorb packages.

I found version 4 debs here: http://corbamon.atlantis.rug.ac.be/omniORB4.html

however, those depend on python-base >= 1.5.2, which has been replaced by
python1.5

has anyone written any notes on getting started with fresco and debian?

thanks,
jason pepas
