Oops, I did mean what I said, we just crossed nomenclatures.

I meant server in the sense of a fault-tolerant machine designed to
serve multple requests well (running the fresco demo _client_ software)
in the sense of it serving multiple people running the client from it to
their workstations (PC's running a fresco server).

Since we're on the subject, that really is a nasty bit of verbiage
you've carried over from X, and there's no need to do so.  Fresco is
such a jump from X in so many ways, why not improve the glossary as
well?

Everyone else uses the term 'server' to mean something completely
different from what it means in X, and it always throws newbies -- at
least every time I've watched.  Technically, of course, it's fairly
accurate; but who cares?  When's the last time you walked into an office
to find someone sitting as his desk waiting for users somewhere to make
a connection to his machine so he can see something pop up?  It's just
counter-intuitive.

Again, I'll cease now with the rant.
