cron job for pre releases

I think it would be a good idea to have a cron job setup somewhere
that does the following:

~  1. check whether gephex--release--0.4.1 has a new revision

~  2. if not, do nothing

~  3. if yes, get this revision, bootstrap, configure, make and
~     distcheck it

~  4. if an error occurs, send an email to gephex-devel

~  5. copy the dist to gephex.org (appending the patch number to the
~     dist name) and send an email to gephex-devel
