On a request of Philipp, I repost this url:

This is a first draft of the protocol for inter process media
transmission (or so).

It is checked into the gephex--main--0.5 arch version (in the doc subdir).

Because there are some unclear points left, it is maybe good to use this
thread for discussion.

One thought: we could change the format to use lisp-style s-expressions
(because martin wants to write a parser for that anyway).
