Library relocation warning

(Please don't post the same messages to both gimpwin-users and
gimpwin-dev.)

Strange. The image base address for the libgimpui DLL is chosen by the
linker, supposedly from the range reserved for 3rd-party DLLs. If that
range was reserved, the same warning would be displayed for most other
GLib and GTK+ DLLs, too.

(You mean "console window". Nothing to do with MS-DOS.)

 > "(gimp.exe:722): LIbGIMP-WARNING **: gimp.exe: wire_read: unexpected EOF"

Presumably the u7shp.exe plug-in crashed unexpectedly when GIMP run it
the first time. Try moving it (and the other plug-ins that generate
that warning) away. u7shp shouldn't be very important, it handles some
file format related to some game. What other plug-ins generate this
same message?

Do you get the same warnings also when running GIMP "natively" on the
machine, not through either RDP or ICA? I have run GIMP on NT 4
myself, and haven't seen anything like that ole32.dll relocation
warning.
