Then, maybe relinking the library on my system would improve the situation?

Of course, I meant "console window". It's only I'm used to name it MSDOS 
window. Maybe because it has an MSDOS icon?

Thank you very much for this hint!! It has solved all my problems. I've 
removed the bad plugins and now everything goes fine. :-)

I don't have physical access to the testing machine now, so I can't log on 
console to test that. Anyway, it doesn't worry me now. When I have the 
machine here and have some more time, I'll test that.
