Possibly. It might even be possible to simply change the base address
of the DLL with some tool without relinking it?

On NT? That's a bit silly, yes. I'ts just that I get annoyed when
people talk about "DOS boxes" etc, as if they the program that
displays a console window had something to do with MS-DOS...

Do you have a list of which plug-ins generate that warning? I could
check if I can find out what's special about them.
