Binary releases?

When will the next glib/gtk binary packages be released?  Will there 
perhaps be improved build instructions for mingw, as it is now one 
can either go the autotools route (which i still havn't managed to 
get working), or manually editing the mingw makefiles (which is a 
pain)?
