FWIW, I have not noticed these problems.  I'm running a Win2k 900mhz 
Pentium 3.  I previously used the 2.0.6 stuff and changed to the 2.0.9 
stuff this morning.  I just running GKrellm so it's not that GTK 
intensive, but the config menus seem to respond just find as do the tree 
items.
