Performance issue with new gtk 2.0 for win32

I have noticed the same thing as Martyn Russell.

I was using Tor's August/September 2002 binary releases of gtk 2.0.6,
glib and pango (both runtime and dev) and I just switched to Tor's new
20021201 packages.

I find that on win98 (on a pentium III of around 1GHz) my gtk-2.0 app
runs appreciably slower. This seems to be true for general gui
responsiveness (e.g. time taken for a menu to pop down when you click
its title) and particularly for pango-intensive operations --
displaying the content of a moderate-sized file in a gtktextview seems
inordinately slow.

I kept a backup of the older gtk-2.0 runtime files but stupidly did
not keep the old "dev" files. For now, I really need to revert to the
September release for acceptable performance. Does anyone have copies
of the older gtk, glib and pango "dev" packages I could snag? Thank
you.
