Hi there I am new

Hi
I am new to gtk for windows. I have a question how do I write gtk code 
in wondows where do I compile them. and do I use VC to compile it.
I am a novic gtk programmer. And I have writen some small tools for 
calculating stuff for the office. Now they want me to have a windows 
version as well. do ihave to rewrite the code. or can i compile the gtk 
code in windows itself.

Secoundly I am really sorry because this is the firsttime in the windows 
gtk section and all. I want to know if there is gtk 2 for windows. Is it 
in devlopment
