  That is seriously obsolete. It is not supported by Microsoft any
  longer. Current versions of GIMP won't run on it.

  A machine like that is more or less worthless for running any version
  of GIMP. Stick to Microsoft Paint. With more memory, you should be
  able to run GIMP 2.2, I think.
