GIMP GAP Video Encoder

Is there anybody out there who is able to create videos with GIMP GAP?
The only combination - which i have heard of in the last two years -
is GTK+2.10.13, GIMP 2.2.17 and GAP 2.2.0 where a video encoder is
available in the "Encoder"-field(values FFMPEG, SINGLEFRAMES and AVI1).
In every other combination the Encoder-field has the value "none".
I'd like do create video with GIMP 2.4.2 and GAP 2.2.2
