Help Please!

I installed Gimp and then needed to install GTK + 2.2.4_ and things
seemed to be working fine as I familiarized myself with some of the
program. I shut the program down and then went to start it up again
and this time only one box appeared. I've totally frustrated and
unable to figure this out. Any suggestions?
