GraphicsMagick 1.0.2 is now available from
"ftp://ftp.graphicsmagick.org/pub/GraphicsMagick".  See
"http://www.graphicsmagick.org/" for more information regarding
GraphicsMagick.

GraphicsMagick 1.0.2 is a bug fix release. No new features have been
added. GraphicsMagick 1.0.2 is 100% API and ABI compatible with the
1.0.1 and 1.0 releases, allowing existing GraphicsMagick libraries to
be upgraded without re-compiling dependent applications.

The following is a list of bugs fixed in this release:

    * Under Windows, extend PATH to include directory where CORE DLLs
    reside so that module loading works reliably.
    * Added missing module mappings for PNG8, PNG24, and PNG32.
    * Search for type.mgk in $MAGICK_HOME.
    * Fix hang while floodfilling image using a pattern.
    * Incorporated shear fixes from ImageMagick.
    * Minor memory leak fixed.
    * Fixed PerlMagick Shade 'elevation' argument.
    * Fixed EPT writing.
    * PNG, MNG, and JNG writer fixes.
    * PSD reader fix for color indexed images.
    * Fixed an error handling path in mogrify command.
    * Added missing module mappings for a number of coders.
    * Fixed problem with libxml/libxml2.def & Visual C++ 6.0.
    * GetImageGeometry was incorrectly handling EastGravity and
    WestGravity.
    * Log event option processing is now handled consistently.
    * GetGeometry now performs some validation of geometry argument.
    * Magick++ throws an exception if GetGeometry rejects the geometry
    argument.

Please note that development of GraphicsMagick 1.1 continues, and that
GraphicsMagick 1.1 contains features and non-critical bug-fixes which
are not in 1.0.2. GraphicsMagick 1.1 will be 100% compatible with all
documented APIs and interfaces, but will not be ABI compatible with
1.0. Additional 1.0.X releases will be produced as required to fix
critical bugs which are discovered in the code.
