No headers or import library

I just installed the GraphicsMagick 1.3.7 Windows Q8 DLL package (after getting everything up and running on Linux, of course). The bottom of the text content on the last screen of the installer told me that I would find C++ headers and import libraries in appropriately named directories under my installation root, but they weren't there. Is this correct? Did I do something wrong? Is it recommended that I just build the library from source for this application? Thanks!
