In order for it to work, you must first individually build all of the delegates in the subdirectories so the libraries are available. If there is still a problem, look in the generated config.log file to see what the related error messages are. Someday we may implement support for a complete recursive build, including the delegates, but this has only been a dream on my head for the past six years because many of the owners of the respective libraries don't believe in configure scripts. Many years ago I developed configure scripts and Makefiles for most of the delegate libraries, but only the maintainer of libjpeg (Tom Lane) was willing to use my work, and even then I had to use a custom approach to satisfy him. It seems that lcms will soon be offering a configure/build environment that I donated so there will soon be another library which is ready to go.
