compiling

Hi,

I'm trying to statically compile GraphicsMagick but when I do the 
configure:
% ./configure --enable-static=yes --enable-shared=no --enable-lzw 
--enable-delegate-build

it sees the tiff, jpeg, etc folders I've put in the GraphicsMagick 
folder but thinks they're "unusable". I can't make enough sense out of 
the configure script to tell what it's unhappy with. Any suggestions?
