Development ImageMagick includes an API for computing PSNR and several
other image comparison algorithms.  Naturally this was not noted in
the ImageMagick ChangeLog or NEWS files.  You may have missed it.  The
API is exposed via ImageMagick's new 'compare' utility.

I will look at the new interfaces that ImageMagick defines for
comparing images and re-use them for GraphicsMagick if they make
sense.
