Guys, you should take this gentleman serious, he was adding matroska 
playback support to VLC basically over one ( long ) night ;) .... he 
knows his stuff ... glad to see the project moving ....

BTW : are you planning to make a VCM code from it still ? Or is this not 
possible anymore if the more advanced stuff of h.264 is used ?
