Project update

Hi list,

Could someone give me a hint about the project status: is it still
active, and if so, what is the purpose of the different directories in
the CVS? This looks pretty confusing from an outsider's point of view...

There seems to be verbatim copies of the JVT sources. I also see both
hdot264 and openhdot264, could you give me an explanation, please?
