 Hi,

 I'm also interested in h264 development.

 For my personnal  learning, I have started an encoder  from scratch with
basic features (sooo slow but begin to work :)
 I think  there is a lot  of code reusable  to make a decoder  (like MC,
IDCT, dequant, deblocking  filter, intra prediction ... ) and  I plan to
do so, but it is not a priority for me.

 I  want first  to clean/rework  some part  and perhaps  introduce basic
B-frames support(ie  coded as P  frame) and then I  think I will  open a
project  somewhere (I  will post  here  once done,  probably in  2 or  3
weeks). (My goal is more to learn than writing something efficient)
