I have not seen this. It might be something new related to the
specific way or format that you are exporting to. If the export is
using ffmpeg or mjpegtools, we need to know its version.

You are probably using PulseAudio with its ALSA plugin, which is a

First, you must know that neither Kino or dvgrab change the video as
it is received from FireWire during capture because "capture" is a
data - not video - transfer operation. The application does not
receive raw, uncompressed video. It receives DV data and writes it to
a file. If the color of a captured DV is wrong, then it is a bug in
the player or whatever it is using for its DV codec. Therefore, at
this point, I am inclined to think the export from Kino is fine, but
the bug is "any player," its configuration, your X server, or
something else - hard to say. Did you test the exported video on
another computer>?
