DVGrab start and stop stream

Hi,

Starting a new project and I stumbled onto dvgrab and it looks like a 
great piece of software.

Can I use it via the terminal to start and stop a video stream from the 
camera using firewire?

This is probably it's main use, but I thought I'd better ask.
