dvgrab hdv auto split

How do I disable dvgrab autosplit for hdv.  Does that format have a  1 gb
limit? Trying to capture whole 1 hr tapes no stops
tried dvgrab -d 000:059:000:000 -f  hdv  which gets 9630 frames
