Lacking most options

OS Debian Testing
I installed Kino 1.3.4-1 along with Lame 3.98.2-0.5, mjpetools 1.1.9.0, 
Xvidenc 8.3.0-0.0,
The Other tab is missing the NTSC and PAL options.
The options offered are VOB, AVI, ogv, mov very poor quality,

What is needed to make kino work properly
