Import TS_Video and the .BFO & VDO files

Is there a way to import .BFO and .VDO (I think that's what they are) 
that are in the those TS_Video (or maybe it's Video_TS?) folders I have 
on my home DVD's?

I want to convert them back to a DV format so I don't have to reload all 
of my mini DV tapes into the computer....it'll wear out my movie camera.

Any ideas?
