Please keep in mind that you are capturing from a realtime DV
converter, and Shlomo is capturing from a DV tape. There could be data
loss on the tape.

I believe the analog input on your converting could be exposed to a
synchronization loss if the analog device faces a bad recording spot
on the tape  - similar to unplugging the analog video cable and
plugging it back in.
