Re: Lost frames, or what else?

For all who answered to my original post: I had no time to change the
firewire card, but I started right now a capture from my Sony miniDV
camera, to see if this kind of capture is affected by the same problem.
I have the suspicion that this capture will be perfect. Now I'm busy,
but I'll look at the result and let you know.

I'm also looking at tail -f syslog every know and than, but no message
dealing with firewire or such are issued.

This test has also the advantage that I can easily check if the DV file
has the same duration as the original tape. With my 8mm equipment is not
that easy.
