Re: Lost frames, or what else?

Okay, the capture from the miniDV camera ran perfectly fine. I took a
rough look at it and I couldn't see any jump. Also, and this is very
important, the capture last approximately 60 minutes. The capture
affected by the jumps were substantially shorter than the orginal 8mm
tape: I can remember a capture of just 43 minutes, and I was not used to
eject a tape which had still more than 15 minutes to record!

So the Canopus ADVC 110 has some problem. The firewire card I used to
capture from the camera is always the same, so I don't think I'm going
to try a capture through the Canopus using a different firewire card.

I guess this thread should be closed now: at present my problem doesn't
seem a kino/dvgrab problem.
