Huw, Yes, the AGP port will be replaced by a new PCI Express Graphics Port/Slot, which at its initial speed will be twice that of 8X AGP. However the big benefit in using the GPU as a coprocessor in rendering, which is one of the reasons why this was brought up at the Linux Movies Group in the first place, is that it is fully bidirectional at that speed(AGP channel from the card back to the motherboard was only normal PCI slot speed).
