Are the execds on the slave machines running?

Load average of 99.99 means the master is not getting
any load information from the slaves.

And "qstat -j" can give you the scheduler's
information on what it is doing.

P.S. I am not very good at SGE... However, you can
find a lot of experts on the SGE "users" list,
including people using SGE to render movies:
