Hi All, I've written an free software renderfarm called Splish. http://splish.sf.net And I'm currently trying to develop a shake plugin to submit to it - nothing particularly complex just a popen and streaming a bunch of details about the job as xml to Splish's submit executable. I've hit a block in getting shake plugins to compile on linux here. I've only got gcc 4.2 on my gentoo and it doesn't work. I believe you need gcc 3.2.3, but I haven't managed to find a binary of this I can use to compile the plugins. I'm hoping someone here is familiar with compiling shake plugins as I've run out of people to ask. Though while I'm writing if anyone is interested in adding support for their application to splish I'm more than happy to help with any information required. Cheers, Alan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Still grepping through log files to find problems? Stop.
