Note that MPEG streams have AR adjustment as an integral part of the format, so this would mean these programs wouldn't be able to play lots of MPEG streams properly either.. Anyway, if that's the case, it might make sense to add an option to the Dshow wrapper for libmcf to pipe its video output through a resizing filter if the app doesn't support AR handling.. it seems to me this is a very Dshow-specific problem, tho.
