AFAIK WMP 6.4 (I can't talk about the newer ones, since I don't use them)
has always supported AR correction. It takes the information about AR in my
MPEGs and apply the resizing while showing, provided there is a proper MPEG
filter installed ( the windows default one supports it, no idea about
third-party ones such as intervideo or cyberlink). So it should be compliant
to AR information provided through DShow.
