glproto where?

Graphics card is broken, and I have now some
older GeForce2 GTS...

I'm trying to compile Mesa-8.0.4 for offscreen
rendering, i.e., I will copy the rendered
image to GTK pixmap.

First problem is that compilation requires
glproto greater than 1.4.9 that I have.
I found two tar.gz packages, but don't know
which one is the correct; sizes differs.
