Hallo

I have some more open thing you could take a look at ;)

This one should be easy to check if still valid:

On the 11.Feb.2010 Linards Ticmanis posted a fix for the MPEG-1 Aspect
ration. You find the fix here:

My feeling is that MPEG2/DVD will be available for quite some time. I
have been encoding MPEG2 for at least 10 years.

That brings me to another point I really want to do. I really think that
there should be a mjpegtools 2.0.0 release. The mjpeg tools have been
registered on SF in May 2000. So from my point it would be a perfect
time to make a 2.0.0 release to start the 2nd ten years :)

I did the last 2 releases back in 2008/9 so a new release shouldn't be a
problem.

BTW: If you check the tracker Statistics the mjpeg produces every month
more than 20GB of web traffic on SF.

And it seems that someone is downloading the mjpegtools after all. There
a at least 60 downloaded from the file area of the mjpegtools. And the
downloaders use that OS (Sum is 632 for 2 Months):
Windows 324
Linux 132
Unknown 124
Macintosh 40
BSD 12

What we don't know is on how many computers the mjpagetools are
installed that have a mjpegtools RPM in the distribution.

auf hoffentlich bald,

Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter
