I have now added a fix to the CVS that seems to work for me. Things 
still compile on my computer where X11 is installed. I hope one of you 
(and any other person is invited too !) has still a machine without X11 
installed and trys to compile the mjpegtools (latest CVS, because I 
committed the patch just a few minutes ago.

I hope that I have done it right. The -lX11 is now only added if you had 
SDL installed, and available.
