This is certainly the wrong address, because this is the location of the
configuration registers for the PCI device. Xawtv wants to know the
linear frame buffer address of your graphics card, which is something
entirely different.

I have the same issues here. Unfortunately, Xawtv is still broken even
if the right framebuffer address is configured. For some reason the v4l2
initialization in Xawtv is messed up and it never manages to request a
valid framebuffer mode from the card. If you want to watch the video on
your screen, I suggest you just try mplayer instead, e.g.:

mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:input=1:width=768:height=576:device=/dev/video0

input=1 sets the S-Video source for my DC10+, so you probably have to
adjust that.
